Our Process
Centrepoint Wealth offers an institutional approach to managing your assets.
When selecting a money manager we take every effort to assure that the money managers are offering programs that take tax planning considerations into effect and have a long track record of managing client assets.
We use a Structured Investing Philosophy that delivers advisor services based on financial, economic and academic theory.
Here's what our process would look like:

Discovery Session
The world of today is filled with a multitude of investment choices and money management programs. Building a comprehensive investment portfolio begins with your decision to work closely with an investment professional who will strive to defend your wealth.
At Centrepoint Wealth we understand your need to be involved in the process of choosing an investment advisory firm... and yet, not be alone when making these decisions.
One way we do this is through a complimentary discovery session and portfolio critique to determine whether we are a fit for each other.

Portfolio Critique & Development
The portfolio critique is paramount and we use various third party services to "drill deep" and strive to uncover hidden costs, such as, taxes and trading costs that could hinder your investment performance.
We also evaluate your portfolio's standard deviation* as compared to our recommendations.
Following the critique, we help you to develop a comprehensive investment plan. By first identifying your goals and objectives, you can then develop an effective long-term investment strategy.
We begin by helping you to determine your income needs, time horizon, risk tolerance and tax considerations.
We will work alongside you to complete a confidential questionnaire to establish your personal investment parameters.

Mutual Commitment Meeting
The fundamental principle of our practice is that we are small by design. Each client is unique and each set of circumstances requires a thorough analysis before any recommendations can be developed.
We know that change is constant and are committed to standing with our clients during and through their life transitions. Trust is paramount in our work and we want build upon a foundation of mutual commitment so we can serve you in the most appropriate and meaningful way.

Follow-up Meeting
Having critiqued and analyzed your portfolio, we will help you determine if a model allocation is right for you and if so which model allocation is best suited to your needs. Models typically ranging from conservative to aggressive are available.
Your model allocation selection outlines a disciplined investment strategy, tailored to meet your investment needs.
Asset allocation can help you design strategies to:
o Ensure your potential return in relation to risk
o Limit your exposure to unnecessary risk
o Meet your financial goals over time
By combining asset classes into a diversified portfolio, you can efficiently monitor your risk level which will help to ensure that you are not taking on risks that you are uncomfortable with.
Centrepoint Wealth's investment strategists manage and monitor client investments and investment models for your portfolio, our philosophy of asset management is to utilize the fundamentals of strategic assets allocation with tactical overlay.
Our job is to lay the foundation for moving forward with your investment strategy.

Advisory Team Analysis
Market forces continually impact the underlying value of assets in your portfolio. Centrepoint's portfolios are systematically monitored and all portfolios are rebalanced on a periodic basis, when appropriate.

* Standard deviation is a gauge used to measure risk, or volatility. It is a number indicating the variability of a set of numerical values about their arithmetic average. The lower the manager's standard deviation, the more stable the portfolio's performance. High standard deviation suggests a portfolio with more fluctuation and volatility.
